Wanted to punch the guy when he was pounding his chest.but he kept pounding his chest making crucial plays after crucial plays.  Ferocious player. What a leader. In my eyes he is almost every little bit important as Curry for GSW team.

Maybe Barkley is another comparison (without the explosiveness)

He's close...I'll give him that.

I'd place him in the same room as KG, but not at his table.

Draymond gets to stand while KG sits and eats at his own table. But at least he's in the same room with KG.

If he had a smidgeon of that explosiveness that Prime KG had, wow.

Yeah. But at the same age he is much stronger than KG was.

Green is like a mid sized bulldog with long arms.

He is in incredible shape.  He didn't look tired once last night.

I was thinking Draymond Green was Rodman-esque. An elite facilitator. Not a go-to guy but someone who does the other things and makes the game easier for everyone around him.

More offensively utility. Less rebounding. Obviously.

But that same type of glue-guy type skill-set and commitment to his role.

13.5ppg, 8.6rpg, 7.1apg per game. Elite defense.

Love Draymond, but KG is at least a top 25 All-Time talent. Draymond has some work to do before reaching that level, if he's even capable of it.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

I just told my friend that he reminded me of KG about 15minutes ago!  The intangibles and the mentality mainly.  The competitiveness on defense.  And of course the chest pounding.

Love him as a player-!

They're two totally different players if you ask me. Green is much more versatile defensively, but overall he can't hold KG's jockstraps offensively and all around.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

He's really elevated his game to a point where he's a borderline superstar. He's like your classic glue guy on steroids. He's no KG, you can't build a team around him but he's probably 2nd behind Curry/ahead of Klay as the reason this is a 24-0 team. Gained so much respect watching him last night

Can't believe he was a 2nd round pick. I remember discussing prospects on this board in 2012 and never once thought about him/his name never came up. Huge steal. Re-do in this draft the guy is probably #4 behind AD, Lillard and Drummond.

It's hard to find a great comp for Green. He's very competitive, can guard 4-5 positions, is built strong and can drive to the hoop and even make 3s. Also, he's not a bad passer!

I think he's kind of like Anthony Mason with a different body type and less playmaking ability but more defensive ability, then add in some of Shawn Marion's versatility and 3 pt. shooting.
