I think Jerebko can be traded starting Dec 15th. The Bucks and Pelicans are both underperforming. Would it be worth a chance to try out Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon, and OJ Mayo as rentals?

Trade David Lee, Jerebko, Zeller, Turner, Mavs pick. Quincy Pondexter and Zeller go to the Bucks.

Mayo is a decent 3 or shooter, Anderson is good, and maybe Gordon would find his stroke.

Stay away from Mayo.

I stay away from Gordon too. Undersized shooting guard, not particularly good on defense and isn't playing very efficiently this year.

Anderson is somewhat appealing as a floor stretcher but I'd rather see if Kelly can keep his roll going. I'd rather see KO getting the minutes than trade valuable assets for Anderson.

I see how these teams help us but I do not see the other team biting because how would it help them?

Draft picks baby. Put them to use. Nothing drastic, but Pelicans must be about ready to tank at this point. Almost entirely expiring contracts in the deal - not much risk.

would take way more than this anyway for Gordon.  Pels ownership is very high on him and still think he hasn't topped out on his potential.  saw an expert over the summer say that MAYBE they'd be willing to deal him for a Brandon Knight (obviously preseason before Knight has exploded into a 20/4/5 guy) which caught my eye and surprised me.  they still see value in him.

personally though i don't hate the idea of Gordon in green, though it would cut drastically into the Tacoma boys backcourt and i'm not sure where Smart would get minutes.  If we have the Pels on the line though, I'd be very interested to listen at what it'd take for Tyreke Evans.  obviously not the 3 shooting this thread is intended to address but a ball handler that is great near the rim and at the drive-and-dish and pick-and-roll games.  can play and guard 3 positions and has even played some 4 this year in small ball lineups.  would free up IT2 to run off screens and try to get open from deep, giving him better looks instead of always having to beat his man off the dribble, and would likely raise his 3%.

I agree about Tyreke. Not a shooter, but an upgrade over Turner.
