Not being a homer, but Giannis doesn't move the needle much in Milwaukee. Could be different if he played here, though as CBS will put him in position to be more successful.

During their rookie seasons I kind of talked myself into siding with Kelly.  Then Giannis really separated himself in their second seasons. Kelly has had a nice little stretch lately but it's not a big enough body of good work for me to even think Kelly and Giannis are in the same ballpark.  I'd still take Giannis and it's not even close.  But I would absolutely love for Kelly to play like he played last night for a couple months and force me to change my preference.

We had a thread a couple weeks ago on who we would choose between Giannis or Wiggins and I chose Giannis, as did a few other posters.  So it seems far fetched to compare Giannis and Kelly a couple weeks later.  But things can change!

The stats are a lot closer than most people probably think but being a few years younger and far more athletic gives the edge to Giannis.

I would love to have Giannis on this team but not at Kelly's expense. If I had to choose I would roll with Kelly, a floor spacing big with 3point range, high iq and improving defense.
