This is not comment on Batum's play itself, but he carries himself with that superstar swagger that very few guys have.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

It's funny how people say Charlotte is going to beat us but then when we win they say Charlotte wasn't impressive, it's as if we had nothing to do with it. Can never just admit we are a good team.
For the record, I have never been impressed with Charlotte, and didn't think they would win.

For the record, if you didn't say that, chances are I wasn't referring to you.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I just turned it on, who played well, who did not? Any and all info welcome  :)
Good all around team effort but IT was the key.  Charlotte seemed to have no answer for him.  Walker and Lin were not able to cover him.  His penetration lead to points and assists.  Avery was good as well and had a couple of nice assists at a key point in the game.

The team did play good overall defense as well (as usual).

Avery was very good. He was huge in the third quarter.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
refs helped us tonight in the 4th quarter...perhaps making up for the GSW game.

Did anyone else get a migraine listening to that Hornets commentator lady babble all night?
So annoying.

IT was a juggernaught tonight. His dribble penetration is enormous for us getting those open threes for Bradley/Crowder/Olynyk.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

For the record, I have never been impressed with Charlotte, and didn't think they would win.

They have played 14 games at home already (10-4 including tonight's loss) vs. 9 road games (4-5).  When they even out on road games their record will suffer.

What's our number of home games versus road games? It seems to be pretty even.

How was KO (cringe while I ask)? He has my heart fluttering lately, but the box score isn't saying much. Limited minutes, but decent?

Do you think Smart will return to starting lineup when he returns ?

I say not right away just to help him get back into game shape but when he does, it's a possibility. Bradley is clearly better than Smart right now, but Smart has phenomenal defensive chemistry with Crowder and the bench could use Bradley's scoring.

Any clue when Smart's back? I might be getting too big for my britches, but I think we should have run Charlotte off the floor when healthy, even for how good they are.
probably january. Maybe after christmas if lucky
