Great game .   Celtics have came a long way .

There is zero letdown to the Warriors .......

They play like they have a chip on their shoulders .

I'm just amazed HOW important winning every game is to the Warriors players at this point.,  they pretty much got a top spot locked , only a injury to Curry could derail them.

Every game is a title game to them.

I wonder who or what drives them to continue to play at a break neck pace .....never has changed since the playoffs with Cavs ...

It's like their motor is throttle is stuck wide open .   Never lets off.

If LeBron played this hard every game he'd score 60 points every night.

I am actually feeling very good. I prepared myself to expect an loss with certainty. This is the one game I'm ok with losing

IT wet the bed in this one.  If it wasn't his misses at the end of clocks it was his turning the ball over leading to fast break easy points or him getting posted up.
If he is a bit longer..

Are you guys nuts? We took the best team in the league by far to double overtime.  We played hard the entire game.  We are just not quite there. But it was great effort.  I love our opportunistic defense.
Yeah seriously... Brooklyn only managed to take them to a single overtime.  Tonight was more impressive.

For real, though.  Great game.  Lots of fun.   I hope the Warriors stay undefeated until Christmas so they can try to tie the record against LeBron.

Great game.  Other team had Curry and Draymond.

And Iggy, Livingston and Barbosa.  Their roster is just stacked with a great bench.  So much of the focus is on the splash brothers but GS team is loaded.  They go 10 deep with really good players.

The C'a are in their third year of a legit total rebuild after the KG era.

We pushed the 23-0 World Champion Warriors to two OT's without one of our three best players.

Were fortunate to be in the position were in. This team isn't very far away. That Brooklyn pick is gonna turn this team into contenders. DA should be proud of himself for what he's done so far.

Now what about Kelly and JY?! That may have been the best game of Kelly's life, and JY played HUGE minutes in this game that NO ONE expected him to be in a few weeks ago. Things are looking up for us here guys.

I'm an IT fan, but 7 of 22 with 6 TOs is bad. I guess he helped out some in the fourth, but that might not have been necessary if he'd had a decent game up until then.

And what the heck happened to Bradley? 15 points in the first quarter and then only 4 the rest of the game?

Also, Sully is shooting horribly. 3 of 11 tonight and only 43.5% for the season.

It's not that huge because Klay and Barnes didn't play. It still sucks that we couldn't end their streak.

Have to agree with all the optimism this shows. No need to get carried away but another sign of how far this team has come under Stevens and the potential that is here to attract the right signing for the C's. The season so far and this result show we are not that far away and one or two additions could make up that extra ground.

I don't know. Brooklyn's won 2 in a row and has 7 wins on the season ... I'm not worried about them being good, but I'm not sure they'll be as bad as we'd like—their record is only the fourth-worst, and they could end up being only like the sixth- or seventh-worst. Though I guess they could still end up being the second-worst (no way they're surpassing Philly).

Yeah, they beat Philly in one of those games, they've lost RHJ for a while and they've been really lucky as far as injuries go considering how thin they are and how much they run Lopez, Young and Jack out there.

I think we got a little carried away with the big losing streak at the start of the year but I have seriously high doubts that the pick ends up any higher than #7 or 8. Even that is pretty valuable, especially considering we have so many assets to package.

If I had to put money on it, I'd say that pick ends up #4 or 5. We traded #5 for Ray Allen once. I think if the Brooklyn pick ends up in the top 5 and our guys have been playing as well as they have been, we can either move up from 5 or make a trade for someone that pushes the needle.

We have to be seriously considered as one of the better non-Cavs teams in the East. That's huge from a team that's in year 3 of it's rebuild and has a roster full of guys 27 or under.

For what's it's worth warriors radio announcers out here were very complimentary of the Celtics as a team and called us a contender in the east. I think Celtics fans rate the team lower than anyone else does. It's not like we are the Cubs, don't get why there is not more optimism here

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We had plenty of opportunities to put them away. Curry hit some enormous threes at crucial times.
Draymond Green killed us all night.

Bradley picked up some petty fouls that could have been let go which influenced the game in the last two OT's, and we missed Smart- but they were missing two starters as well.

Even though we lost, this was a great game for our confidence overall.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Good game,  but with the Celtic's as they stand now,  you either live or die with Isaiah Thomas. he plays hard but also makes some costly mistakes. the free throw line killed us double fold, first by missing too many shots and secondly not getting their enough although you can blame some of that on the officials, we got way too few calls in the paint.
All you can do is forget it and look to beat Charlotte tomorrow.
