I don't feel like there is a player on this team I don't like. Hoping Ainge trades all our picks to move up and get that one missing piece in the middle or whatever.  Amir and Lee aren't going to last forever.  And Jerebko is nothing more than a roleplayer.  But with Kelly turning the corner.  I feel like James  young and Hunter will be players in this league.  Bradley has solified himself at sg for a long time. Same with Sully.  Smart, Isaiah, Crowder, Turner.  These are all guys we should try to keep around.

Need to package a few of them for an all-star.

We need a legitimate, athletic SF and an athletic defensive center.

In a dream world if we could swap Amir Johnson for Nerlens Noel (with 2 more years exp) and Jerebko for Paul George this would be  a dynasty

Something will have to give next year with three more possible first rounders joining the team.

And if I'm a potential player in the draft, I wouldn't want to be on the Celtics. There are just too many good players competing for PT.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
If I'm a Western Conference playoff team GM, I would give a long hard look on Avery Bradley. It maybe just one game, but that was one heck of a defensive performance by him, and his stock must have risen just by this one game alone.

Danny better get on the phone and test his worth.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

That would be so awful. DeRozan is just so bleh. He's a black hole and cannot shoot.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Of course you would. He's really improved every season he's been here, but this is like he's taking another step up a level. He may be one of the best 3 and D guards in the league. If you were OKC, how much would you give to replace Waiters with Bradley right now? Nevermind that he's signed for like 3 more years at an insane like 8 mil per year.

I was of the opinion that, trade value wise, he was one of our better assets on the roster not named Marcus Smart. He's like 24 or 25, he's becoming an elite role player, has an all-defensive resume and makes only 8 mil per, fairly long term.

What Do you think the best you could get for him is?

It was a pretty great performance.. he held Steph to 9-27 shooting and chipped in 19 points... though he went ice cold for most of the game and finished with 8-19 shooting.  But to limit Steph Curry to just 38 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals is pretty impressive.

I feel similarly about this team. I enjoy this team, its development, and chemistry, and would dislike them being torn apart at this point for any improvement, let alone a marginal one.

One perennial All Star at the 3, 4, or 5 turns this team into a legitimate Championship Contender though so it's tough. The probability of getting that last piece through trade is low, the probability of getting him through trade without tearing up this team is even lower, drafting one in the next draft and waiting for his development is just as low, but I'm willing to wait it out.

There's a segment out there that would rather gut this team for a star and risk a Melo-Knicks or Deron-Nets situation. Forget that... I want to see this team and its players continue to develop and acquire what they can using the picks.

Win or lose, I enjoy this team and am willing to wait it out with this team.

OKC would seem to be a good fit for Bradley.  However, I don't see what they'd trade us.  They aren't going to trade Durant, Westbrook or Ibaka.  They've already traded protected 1sts to the Sixers and Jazz so the earliest 1st they could trade is 2022 (not sure if its even eligible to be traded yet).

man I would hate giving up AB at this point based on his play-versus-salary ratio.
We are getting seriously great value from AB right now.
