Why is this post in Celtics Talk?
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Why is this post in Celtics Talk?

I guess cuz rondo was a former star player of the Celtics
Nothing wrong with talking about our former stars

Either that or a lost kings fan

We should add a "Rondo fan talk" section for this kind of posts

I

a) believed trading Rondo was the right move for the Celtics,
b) love Rondo,
and
c) am thrilled he's having a good season this year.

And I'll be there are lots of folks out there who feel the same

Rondo needed a change of scenery.  He's thriving in Sactown, and he and Boogie are in a hot and heavy bromance.

That dunk was sick.

I like what Rondo is doing. I like that Sacramento team even though I'm still kind of hoping it blows up and the team trades Cousins to Boston.

I think this partly true, but I also think he is fully healthy for the first time in a long while.  He is even starting to hit some threes!

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

The three things I root for hardest the are, in this order

1. The Celtics to win
2. The Nets to lose
3. Rondo to be awesome

If the Kings bite it then the odds of a Cousins trade go up, so it's tough, but I can't root against Rondo. The Maxiell dunk in 2008 is still the most excited I've ever gotten at a basketball game.

Hey, you stole my three!  Same order.

I love Rondo, always have, always will. He's central to many of my fondest Celtics memories, and I'll always go out of my way to watch and root for him. However, I'm glad he's not on the Celtics. Thomas is a much better fit, and IMO he's better than Rondo at this point.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

If Rondo continues to play this well, it will be interesting to see which teams he gets offers from besides the Kings as well as how much he is offered.  There's still a lot of teams that already have good PGs or that he wouldn't be a good fit.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
