Anyone Free Agent or in the draft that plays with the type of grit, grime, and tenacity that fits Coach Stevens style.

Share you wealth of knowledge and let us know who you love and why.

I'm just assuming we won't land a big prize in the draft Simmons, Skal, Ingram. Btw I was thinking we could use another dominant rebounder we may lose Sully. I was wondering who's leading college players in RPG. Who is it, Ben Simmons 15 RPG, boy would he fill some needs.

Onto guys more likely in our range all over the first round.

Isaiah Briscoe Kentucky 6'3" guard that's a Defensive beast and struggles with the three so you know Ainge already loves him lol.
Seriously though check this kid out next time the WildCats are on TV. He's 200 pounds and ninja quick, good passer and rebounder shooting .531% from the field.

Kevin Durant would be a great fit here we have a team full of super role players Durant, Bradley and Thomas could really score + are defense. Wow. Better than the Laker options IMO.

Jaylen Brown SF  his stock has to be dropping now he's been horrible with all of his jumpshots, still a great option with the Nets pick. Freak athlete, still avg 15 ppg 5.5 RPG on .420% shooting.

Kris's Dunn PG from the Friars, 6'3" slightly less athletic Russell Westbrook that's more of a natural PG with more focus on defense. Won't score as much as Russell but he is lightning in a bottle. Should be Ready to play now.

If we ended picking around six he's my pick. Avg 18ppg, 7.3 apg, 6.4rpg, 3.4 spg. 32.0 per great pick and roll player. He would fit right in here.

Cheick Diallo 6'9" 7'4" wingspan 19 years old.

This kid is a warrior from the past. Just started playing basketball recently. I heard him in an interview saying he grew up playing soccer and for some reason I never get tired.

You can see that on the basketball court as well. Incredible motor, very fun temperament on the Court fantastic positive energy that emenates from him he's also the most flexible big man I've ever seen.

He needs a lot of work. Tremendous Upside. I think he ends up being better than Nerlens Noel, wouldn't hesitate to take him with are second first rounder.

Jaylen Brown. He should be picked right in the range where the Nets Pick will be and he has a tremendous motor and takes great pride in defense. Diallo fits in that classic Celtics player mold, but I doubt we have a pick in the range he should go in.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I want Jaylen Brown, Labissiere or Bender with the Nets pick. All good defenders.
Would love to have Jaylen Brown out there with Smart/Bradley/Crowder...they'd be a defensive nightmare.

I like Thomas Bryant with our own pick assuming we finish between pick#22-26.
Hard nosed, long, can shoot free throws and has good footwork with potential on offense.
Really good pick and roll defender and similar measurements to Dwight Howard.
Same size as Howard, much slower and less athletic, but much tougher and more stretch potential. Shoots 70% from the line.

Brown and Bryant are the tough guys you're referring to. So are Demetrius Jackson, Khris Dunn and Sabonis Junior.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

Andrew Nicholson just seems like an Ainge guy to me.  I think he'll be the replacement for Sullinger.

In the draft, look for undersized power forwards and combo guards with questionable jumpers that lack pure point guard skills.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The C's will probably search for guys that have some of these traits, ability to guard multiple positions, shooting, ball handling.

I think Bender fits a couple of those. Ellenson is another skilled big in the Olynyk mode that I think would fit our offense.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Jaylen Brown seems to have a lot of the same attributes that guys like  Tyreke Evans and Harrison Barnes had -- Ainge was supposedly wild about those guys.

Draft I see a few guys who could fit
Upper draft
Simmons due to pre college hype, LSU PF, unconventional PF.
Lab due to pre college hype, over came some adversity, unconventional PF.
Brown very similar to Winslow it's like a 2015 BBall gods make up.
Poeltl due to efficiency, stayed a extra year, plays tough.

Mid draft
Qi due to upside, stayed a extra year*, hard worker
Korkmaz due to upside, IQ, intangibles
Sabonis due to IQ, family, Zags, Stevens type of player

Late draft
David Walker due to scoring, experience and he is a combo guard in Celtics own backyard how can they not draft him.
Brimah due to experience and need.
Zach Auguste due to experience and style of play.

FAs
 Barnes and Hordford

Qi - I thought Chinese players are not permitted to leave their own country until age 21 or 22.  If this is true any team drafting him this year would have to be thinking "draft and stash".

Simmons seems like the perfect player for Brad's system of read-and-react. He's got great visions and great passing ability without letting the ball stick too much. Bender also has terrific passing instincts that I like and he's a versatile defender. If he were to live up to the potential he has as an 18 year old, he'd be a great Brad guy, too.

Defensively, Jaylen Brown for sure. He seems like a bit of a tough guy a la Marcus Smart or Jae Crowder (and with the shakey jumper to boot).
