I'd like to make an impassioned vote for Avery Bradley over IT4, but if we can only get one Celtic in there, I think IT4 has a better chance to make a name for himself in the fan voting so the coaches add him in later. 

Also, a lot of people are joke writing in Evan Turner around the internet which is great.  Up that trade value fellas!

I'm going to be pretty disappointed if Isaiah doesn't make it. Second best Guard in the East by far. Hopefully the coaches put him on the team after he gets screwed by the fan vote.

I doubt Thomas gets voted in but I voted for him anyway. I basically gave him Jimmy Butler's vote:

Thoughts

I decided to drop Anthony Davis from team for lack of team success. I gave Kawhi the nod as best Spurs player over Aldridge and Duncan. And choose Kawhi over B.Griffin due to team success again.

Also, dropped Harden due to team chemistry issues. He is a big part of that with his selfish ways on the court and reluctance to playing defense. Westbrook was the more deserving player anyway (but I had forgotten about him until right at the end - W surname).

I am on the fence over picking Andre Drummond. I think he has been the best center in the East this season but I don't really want to see him in the All-Star game. I would prefer to see a more skilled player over a limited offensive player. Makes the game more fun. Might change that one going forward. I wasn't wild about alternatives though. Thought about going small with Melo at center but not sure he deserves it. Maybe Millsap or Horford. Bosh or K-Love. Millsap or Horford seem the most deserving alternatives.

Steph Curry and DeMarcus Cousins were the easiest picks in the West.
Paul George the easiest in the East.
Those 3 were the first names down on the team sheets.

Drummond is going to be awesome in the all star game. Maybe the most fun guy to watch. All he'll do is run up and down the court, catch lobs, blocks shots, and muscle dudes under the basket.

He's missed time.  I think Kawhi's had a better season so far.  Better team, better defense, bigger impact.

Looking at his numbers, I kind of can't see how Thomas won't make it. He is averaging 21 points, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals on a team that will be in a playoff position? Tough to not include that. I will also add that while I don't want to get into the dead end debate of the goodness or badness of making the playoffs last year, but I do think a small and insignificant benefit is that it makes someone like IT more likely to make the all star game this year.

I could see it getting tricky for Isaiah if Wall and Wade get voted in and Jimmy Butler is classified as a guard.  He'd be in competition with Kyle Lowry and Butler for spots on the bench. 

There's also Kemba, who could get consideration from coaches if the Hornets stick around in the playoff standings.

Can't count out Reggie Jackson, either, though right now the Pistons are behind the Celts in the standings.

Yeah no guarantee that he makes it because there's a lot of worthy Eastern guards this year, but I think he's at the level where it would be fair to call it a snub if he doesn't.

He is actually 4th among scoring for guards and his other conventional guard numbers (steals, assists) are better than demar dorozen who averages 1 point more. I also kind of wonder if Wade will get voted in this year. He is only averaging 18.5 and he just doesn't seem like a superstar any more.

Wade would presumably get voted in by the casuals who don't care what his stats are.
