its isaiah chance to pitch a all star spot and turner loves the stage,
avery could play inspired defence and has no height or length issues to deal with
,this is truly going to be fun
sully could be a beast, nobody is used to the distribution of mass coupled with skill  this kid is tough to move

We miss smart. AB can cover curry as well as you can ask, but IT can't cover curry and certainly can't cover klay even if he is not 100%

It's a good thing there's no Barnes. You can put Avery on Curry, Crowder on Thompson, and hide IT4 on Rush.
2025 CelticsStrong Historical Draft Orlando Magic:
PG: Chris Paul, Fred VanVleet
SG: Ray Allen, OG Anunoby, Zach Lavine
SF: Paul Pierce, Gordon Hayward
PF: Chris Bosh, Serge Ibaka, David West
C: Tim Duncan, Andrew Bogut

can turner or jerebko do a good job on clay -
i think it would be better to experiment with rozier rather than young-
they will take young to the woodshed-

I bet that's exactly what CBS will do. Would be far better if we had Smart in the game.

AB is a pretty good matchup against Curry, to the extent that anyone is. He's at his best defending quick guards who aren't super physical.

Excellent. I thought Barnes was back by now, which would mean you couldn't put IT on him. If Klay is out, too, that just makes the matchup even better for us!
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Thompson likely won't play and if he does he will be very limited, that ankle sprain was bad.

Haha agreed

Oh my lord - James Young couldn't even score / defend against summer league competition.  I shudder in fear of what would happen if he tries to play against an undefeated-and-former-NBA-champion Warriors squad.

I wonder if Klay will play. I would lean towards a no mainly because it is the start of the back to back and I don't think they view their streak as more important than risking his ankle getting balky.

TP for using the phrase "distribution of mass" in referring to Sully.  Love it.

Our problem has never been with Curry... it's been with Thompson and the match-up problems he presents, along with all the other big wings the have. Smart would've been very useful.

i am not saying young has become a consistently good defender, but in the past few games he has played a lot better defense than last year or summer league. he still make poor choices and can be faked out of position.

but i also saw him make a couple of good defensive stops and play more often at an acceptable level of defense.

he is improving.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I will try to jinx it and say AB will get 3 quick fouls by curry's dribbling and get limited

And everyone here will claim all three of those fouls were illegitimate.   Immediately they'll claim the NBA is fixing the game so that the Warriors can try to tie the all-time win streak nationally televised against LeBron, Kyrie and the Cavs on Christmas Day.

Someone might as well just create the ref complaint thread now so we can get a jump on this.
