Actually he took it back during the game tonight (sort of) :police:
"Gimme the ball, gimme the ball". Freddy Quimby, 1994.

if anyone has a shot at beating them, it might as well be Boston.  We match up pretty well with them.  In theory we can limit them with defense.  Obviously, we'd need to force Curry to have a bad game and not let any of their other players step up.   But I mean... Golden State is due to lose at some point.

For all you folks who like to whine about the refs... get ready with your tin hats and pitch forks.    This game isn't nationally televised.  If Golden State can win the next 5, it sets them up to tie the all-time win streak on national television Christmas day vs LeBron James, Kyrie Irving (expected to return before then) and the Cavs  (23 + the 4 they won at the end of last season equals 27... if they win the next 5 it's 32.  Longest streak is the 71 Lakers with 33).  I'm sure they'll rake it in regardless, but if there was ever a time to give Golden State a little ref nudge, these next 5 games would be the time.  I imagine with that win streak in play, that Christmas Day game might challenge for the most watched regular season NBA game ever, right?

Yeah listening to it now.  Thanks.

I should listen to Lowe's podcast more often.  He's one of the best basketball minds out there.  Liked the early part of the podcast with their discussion about the Philly situation which echos a lot of my same thoughts.  Gundy was pretty adamant that the idea that agents would snub Philly this summer is absurd.  If their clients get paid, they get paid.  Still waiting for the Warriors talk.  Good stuff so far.

And yeah, I'm usually going to bed right around when folks on the East coast are waking up.  Lol.

The Durant talk was pretty interesting too. I can't help but fear that Durant leaves OKC for the Lakers. Imagine the nightmare this off-season, if the Lakers get the #1 pick Ben Simmons and nab Durant through free agency? Even one of those things would be devastating, but BOTH are on the table. Scary.

Van Gundy made that statement based on Warrior's injuries, specifically Klay Thompson. he failed to mention we were without Marcus Smart. I don't like the guy, he announced the whole game like he had a man crush on Chicago.
Once again James Young proves he has nothing!!!!

Nice win, these are the type games that are "must win" for this team.

i sure hope we do. I wish we had Smart to help neutralize Curry but hey, I guess they won't have Klay. If Bradley locks down Curry, he might as well be a lock to be included in 1st Team All-Defense lol ;D
