these teams needs a big but what do we need from them?
i think with zeller not getting any playing time, he might be upset and ask for trade soon

what do we need from these teams?
washington wizards
phoenix suns
indiana pacers
memphis grizzlies
los angeles clippers

these are the teams i think lack of bigs right now
so they might consider asking for sullinger or zeller or someone?

would you resign
sullinger zeller jereko next season?
with johnson, lee, olynyk, mickey?

I'd do whatever to get Myles Turner from Indy. Paul George is killing it and he needs more ability to play the 3.

Keep in mind that I want us to tank. So I would be willing to give up IT(plus future picks) AB Sully etc

Also some guys/bigs we could trade for based on other teams needs(some would help us win now and some would be projects/risks):

John Henson
Evan Fournier (he would be great on this team for a win now)
Clint Capela
Myles Turner
Brandon Jennings(could be better or at least clear some clutter and could be an asset coming off bench or down the road.

washington wizards also in very need help of a big help
since nene is injured and gortat, i don't see him play
with there salary cap,  zeller is the only guy that could help them and be 3rd big insurance

do they have something to offer to get zeller?

Danny Ainge's plan is to not trade anyone for the sake of trading him so that by the time the Celtics are contenders, he's not relying on Ryan Hollins-level players to fill out the bench.

Teams that are looking for reinforcements for the playoffs are not the sort of team to be discarding the star that Ainge wants.
"The worst thing that ever happened in sports was sports radio, and the internet is sports radio on steroids with lower IQs.” -- Brian Burke, former Toronto Maple Leafs senior adviser, at the 2013 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference

I think gambling for a star to become available , especially one that fits our system, is just as risky as the draft lottery.

Your right about the Ryan Hollins, I would have said Scal, but teams that have young star talent know that they need to get quality bench guys for the future.

Look at the Pelicans. I was against them trading/signing players to come in and help AD. That is crazy but they should have played the draft for another year or maybe 2(which currently they are but not by choice). I can understand why they did it but I think they would have been much better off keeping their picks and Nerlens Noel.

They wanted to show AD that they supported him so he would feel like he could win there/be supported. Instead they jumped the gun and let their insecurities about AD's happiness with the team dictate their moves.....I see a faint resemblance to how we as a fan base and as a team treat CBS.

a future first. We would have to give more than Zeller but an unprotected pick in 2017 would be fine with me. 2017 should be a great draft. Bam Bam, Dennis Smith Jr, Thon.

I said Zeller simply because he's cheap and someone may want a 7 footer. Problem is all our bigs are about the same, very average NBA players. So basically you hope to trade a couple in a package to upgrade. Otherwise you hope that 2 of them have a good game on the same night.

We need a starting small forward who can score in bunches and down the stretch without giving away too much on the defensive end.  I like Jae Crowder a lot, but see him as the backup SF/PF, a specialist who can guard the best wing/forward on the other team.

Good thing this draft has plenty of small forwards. Last draft had the centers and this one has the 3's. Too bad we missed out on last years draft.

I chose Zeller, with fingers crossed on Lee. Kelly is still a tease.

I like your possible trade picks too. Henson would fit well, plus I don't feel he's gotten a real good shot with the bucks.

We didn't miss out on the draft, Ainge passed up a few bigs, most notably Portis.  Turner would have been worth trading up for too, imho.

I want to see Lee traded so Mickey gets some playing time.
