Celtics' Marcus Smart: Will undergo MRI on knee
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Smart will undergo an MRI on his knee, Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe reports.

While Smart did not have the knee wrapped after Friday's win over Brooklyn, coach Brad Evans said Smart will undergo an MRI after colliding with a Nets player, leaving his status for Sunday up in the air. Smart scored seven points on 2-of-5 shooting in 21 minutes Friday, adding two rebounds, four assists and a steal.

smart is not injury prone ,it is a result of playing football in silk shorts
on a serious note he plays with no concern for his body
i feel like the teams jockey for position early in season, then coast after christmas
and then comes a form of playoff basketball for some teams trying to position themselves and others resting their stars
-smart and the celts don't play any other way
i think there may be a process on how far you push yourself-maybe that doesn't and hasn't applied to the celts culture-so hopefully just a bruise and we call up rozier ,use rj as shooting guard and everbody will love/hate turner again

Smart is not traveling to Brooklyn and is out for the next few games. Young and Rozier were both called up to join the team
