Steph Curry couldn't stay healthy his first few years in the league, too....

Just saying.
i have seen this phrase a couple of times now and am a loss as to what it is intended to add to a statement. are you saying that what you just wrote is not serious, or lacks strength as an argument?

or are you saying that by simply and just saying what you said doesnt need to really be taken seriously?

honestly, this appears to add nothing valuable or to strength someone's points.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think its pretty clear what he is saying.

Curry was injured numerous times and if Goldem State gave up on him, all of whats happening right now would have never been.

Also seems fo indicate that we shouldnt give up on because of some injuries. His defensive abilities are game changing, lets not give up on the kid because of some minor injuroes here and there.

Pretty simple.

adding the phrase 'just saying' to the end of an argument is not meant to weaken the argument. It is actually meant to strengthen the argument, and it is another way of saying 'I shouldn't have to tell you this', in other words, the argument is obvious and beyond dispute.

Just saying.

I don't think Smart is going to become one of the best dribblers, passers, and 3pt shooters in the game.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Probably a good chance that Smart loses his starting role if Bradley and IT play well these next two games.

This new report on Smart concerns me GREATLY.

Bad news on both Turner and Smart on front page.

Quote
The results of the MRIs and extent of the damage to their knees is unknown. Medical personnel fear damage to Turner's meniscus and poplitel tendon and a tibiofibular subluxation for Smart, according to the source.

Turner's injury is concerning. Smart's more so. The phrasing "at least two games" is especially alarming!!  I dug the below stuff up. Not sure it pertains directly to Smart, but I think so.

Quote
TREATMENT OF PROXIMAL TIBIOFIBULAR JOINT INSTABILITY

The treatment of proximal tibiofibular joint instability usually depends upon whether it is an acute or chronic injury. In acute cases, we have found that immobilization in a brace in full extension for 3 weeks is often very effective to allow the posterior proximal tibiofibular joint ligament tear to scar in sufficiently such that there is no instability. However, in chronic cases, immobilization would not be sufficient to achieve this goal. Thus, Dr. LaPrade and his team have developed an anatomic proximal posterior tibiofibular joint reconstruction procedure. We have found it to be very effective at restoring stability to this joint and not resulting in joint overconstraint. In the past, while others have often treated this instability of this joint by fusing it, we have reported through research that a proximal posterior tibiofibular joint ligament reconstruction is easily performed, does not overconstrain the joint and has decreased the chance of leading to ankle pathology further down the line.

In addition, we frequently perform a common peroneal nerve neurolysis concurrent with the ligament reconstruction to release the scar tissue around the common peroneal nerve so that any further nerve irritation will not occur after surgery due to postoperative swelling or scar tissue entrapment.

POST-OP

Patients who undergo this reconstruction are kept on crutches for 6 weeks with no to minimal weight-bearing movement, but are allowed full range of motion. After 6 weeks postoperatively, patients may start to use a stationary bike with low resistance. We anticipate that our patients will return back to full activities about 4-5 months after surgery, following the rehabilitation program.

If the injury news is true, I wonder what l you guys who were saying Smart only left the game because his confidence is low and because the C's were blowing out the Celtics have to say. You know, maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't be reading things into something try aren't, especially injuries. The kid was sent for an MRI. He wasn't just sitting out because his confidence is low, and even then, Smart doesn't have a confidence problem, he has an ability to create offense problem.

Because he plays like a bull in a china shop. Sometimes the china you break gets stuck in your foot.
This is exactly correct. He doesn't play under control or with any regard for his body. He's like a football player who refuses to move his knee out of the way when someone is obviously aiming at it. It's stupid.

Plagiarism. Where's the CsBlog ethics committee?

Smart doesn't seem remotely close to being where we had hoped offensively. Still a bull in a china shop, doesn't seem to be making gains. He had success against OKC because he both a) drove and finished/got fouled, which he probably won't do again until he's in OKC, and b) hit more 3s than not.

I'm losing faith. At least show signs of improvement ... do the things you need to do to get better (e.g., penetrating; improving footwork, like a euro; posting up; better shot selection).

Smart's gotta work on his footwork, develop a euro and floater, put some English on the ball, etc.

Dude is a bull in a china shop, looks like Stephen Jackson (RB) with the ball.

Regarding Smart's injury, Google seems to think it's hypermobility of a joint and treatment for relatively mild cases is reduced aerobic activity, immobilizing of the joint, etc. Blah, bad news.

OMG shame on us. I'm so glad there are people like you to correct us all.

Let's not forget though that Smart has a tendency to over react to injuries.

Stephen Curry also had a chronic problem that had to do with the way he walked, which took year of physical therapy, as well as ankle and core strengthening, to correct. It had nothing to do with his (rather soft, may I say?) style of play. Marcus seems to get hurt because he's willing to dive on the floor on every play, which isn't a bad thing but may not be a good thing over multiple 82-plus-game seasons for a guy with his muscle mass.

Well he's gotta play that way because his offensive game alone isn't good enough. Take away the relentless defense and he's just another guy out there. At least for right now.
