Poll: Over Under 55 games Brook Lopez injury

 Every game I have watched Lopez seemingly is always on the floor. amazingly he's playing 35 mins a game the most minutes since his second year in the league.
 He's avg 20 and 8 without him there done. Over under 55 games if he goes down.

Not gonna say I hope for a guy to get injured, but it'd certainly help the Celts.


What I'd prefer to see is for the Nets to trade Lopez for a 1st round pick from another team more desperate to win now (e.g. the Pelicans), and then we could all root for Lopez to stay healthy and do well without it hurting our draft position.

He's having a nice season so far... 20 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 blocks with 47% shooting and 82% from the line.  Maybe we should accidentally step on his feet tonight.

Lopez has, I think, two more years on his contract after this one. I doubt he is playing through major pain right now to set up his next contract when he just signed an extension.

Personally I hope he stays healthy but gets traded. I could see Dallas trying to pull the trigger to add him for a playoff run.

Unpopular stance, but it's more so the human condition. 99.9% of posters here would be elated to wake up and find out Lopez was out for a significant amount of time, and probably wouldn't get too down about how he is feeling. It's just that no one would dare to say it ...

He's 2nd among centers with 35 mpg and the median for the top 30 Cs based on mpg is 28 mpg. OTOH, he's averaged 33 mpg per year.  I think if he's hurt or becomes hurt with a minor injury, they'd be careful, The Nets way out of the hole they've dug for themselves is through free agency, not the draft.

In any case, they're going to be really bad with him now that Joe Johnson seems to be sliding fast. Without Lopez they'd still have trouble edging out the Sixers with teams being desperate not to lose to the Sixers as a matter of pride.
