The word "glory".

The first "vision" is of the hardwood floor in the old Garden.

The first person is Larry Bird, with floppy 80s hair, and a finger raised in glory.

I don't believe any of the prior answers. You guys are that just posting what the Celtics mean to you.

The first word I believe comes to my mind when the word Celtics comes up is Boston as in Boston Celtics!! Or Basketball as in Celtic's Basketball.
