Me too...he's good now and going to get better.

It's no wonder the Celtics were interested.

Some of his moves down low are just astounding.  Just already seems to have a really good feel for the game at such a young age.  Very impressive with his footwork.

I was not a fan of Russell so thought draft would have gone Okafor, Towns, Porzingis. A few teams are regretting their pass on Porzingis right now.

I was right.  Was high on him two years ago.  A lot of posters were comparing him to Bargnani, which was just incomprehensible.

He will emerge as the best player from this year's draft, even better than Towns, who is going to be a stud.

Melo's clock is ticking, and I highly doubt they will ever be a true contender while he is there.  They should just bite the bullet sooner rather than later, and trade Melo and vets for picks/young players, and build around this kid.

You mean one team, the Lakers, is going to regret it, right? Philly and Minny are going to be very happy with their picks. Don't see them regretting that.

Could be one or all of them depending on how it goes.

If he had stayed in he draft last year, we would have taken him instead of James Young. Man did we miss out big time on that front.

He's had one good game and is shooting .400 from the field on the season. I'm pretty sure Adam Morrison had a similar rookie year, so the jury is still obviously out on this one.

He's also a 20 year old rookie who is averaging 12/8 who is already showing that he actually create his own shot whereas Morrison was a 22 year old rookie who couldn't create his own shot to save his life in the NBA and was atrocious defensively.

Porizingis is listed at 7-3 while Morrison was 6-8.  Outside of their skin color, I don't see how these two are similar.  Their games aren't similar at all even though their shooting percentages might be.

He's had "one good game" if you're completely averse to the idea of defense mattering at all.

He is looking GOOD. The 29 pts yesterday were incredible. That Dream Shake though! Glad the Lakers missed him!  ;)
