His dad was my favorite Center to watch growing up (sorry Shaq), so I'll always have a soft spot for any Sabonis's in the league. That being said, the DE scouting video of Domantas paints a very good "role player" picture of him, definitely worth nabbing with a 16-30 draft pick. Think of Tiago Splitter but with post moves.

If we end up not resigning Zeller, Sully, or Lee, it might be good to develop young frontcourt depth alongside Jordan Mickey.

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

I don't know about this kid but I even liked Sabonis and Shaq is my favorite.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Not sure I agree with mobility being an asset for him especially compared to a guy like Splitter. Sabonis is a back to the basket scorer that has limited defense and rebounding. He can't blow up a pick and roll like Splitter can.

Intrigued to see how he does this year as far as development but the problem with finesse post players like Sabonis is that they dont get fouled much. He can spin and scoop his way to an easy 16/6 on any given night but hes not going to make them pay at the line, get their bigs in foul trouble or protect the paint.
