to be fair, are we also lucky that he refused that package, how's Winslow doing?
His numbers aren't great but he's earning over 28 mpg on a playoff team because his defense is great and he does so many good things on the court. He's like a more athletic Jae Crowder but he's only 19. I'd still trade Rozier, Hunter, and Mickey for him right now.

I was going to make the Jae Crowder comparison but didn't want to get burned for it...that was the first thing I thought

a defensive 3, but can also score occasionally

he'd still redraft Kaminsky because after all, he's MJ and only rivaled by Isiah Thomas for incompetence in running a franchise

Ted Stepien and Billy King would like to have a word with you...

lol, this.  Ted Stepien was so bad that he got a rule named after him to protect GMs from their own incompetence.

For Billy King's part, who knows how many picks he would have given up for Pierce and KG had the aforementioned Ted Stepien rule not prevented him from selling them all away.
Very true.  King and Stepien are pretty high standards in terms of horrible.

I haven't watched him much, and his box score won't blow you away, but from what I understand he's been giving the Heat good minutes, showing occasional flashes.

The comparison to Jae Crowder seems right.  He's Jae Crowder with a much higher offensive ceiling.  Look at how good Jae Crowder's been for the Celts this year.  Imagine having another guy like that, only with the potential to develop into a much better scorer.

That's why Ainge was willing to give up a bunch to get him.

He looked Great last night. He may the best player in the Draft in the long run. Frank K is on the pine.

Johnson and Winslow were who I wanted (realistically) so I'm 50/50 on swapping our 3 plus another 1st for Winslow. I'd wait until half way through the season.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
