Uncoachable, Moody, Ballhog, Lazy. PLEASE STOP.  Cousins is a talent that Stevens could blend in with the BALANCED talent that the Celtics now have to immediately move us to the upper end of the conference. We have too many pieces that do the same thing. Play hard and compete! Unfortunately that isn't enough. Give us the big guy and let Stevens coach him up letting go of whatever pieces we have to get this team moving towards the next Championship.

whatever pieces? Easy to say without naming the pieces. So do tell, which pieces are you willing to give up for Cousins?

I'd say this article pretty accurately discusses the chances of this happening.

http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/celtics/2015/11/risk_price_tag_of_demarcus_cousins_seem_too_steep_for_celtics

Can't get past that game here last year where Cousins pretty much quit on his team.  He'd get destroyed by the Boston media if he pulled that garbage here.  And if they gave up a lot of their other assets to get him and were pretty much stuck with him.....not sure that's the way to go.

the only guy that can coach Cousins is drill sergeant popovich.  He would make Cousins cry

Trade the Nets pick for 2016 and either Smart or Bradley plus Sullinger or Olynyk plus Young or Zeller and any of the 2nd round draft choices we have. We can live without 1 guard, 1 forward, 1 first round pick and any other smaller pieces to make it work. Go big or go home. This team as is sits now is competitive and fun to watch but we will never be in the upper group without making a move.

You name it, I'd probably do it.  Anything short of trading our entire starting 5 and every pick we have, I would probably do.

Lets start with:

Bradley, Sullinger, Young, Nets 2016 1st

[OR]

Smart, Sullinger, Jerebko, Dallas 2016 1st

[OR]

Smart, Lee (expiring), Nets 2016 1st

I don't think he'd have a hope in hell of getting Cousins without either Smart or the Nets 2016 1st - there's a chance we might need both.  I'd pull the trigger on any of the above and would consider more if need be.

Another deal I would love would be Smart, Crowder, Sullinger, Lee (expiring), Nets 2016 1st   [FOR] Cousins, Rudy Gay.

Cousins and Gay is a large return so probably unrealistic, but if the Kings did decide to rebuild they would have a strong base in Rondo, Smart, Crowder, Sullinger, WCS plus the nets pick (which is likely to be a top 5 pick).

Labissiere and Simmons are the top 2 protected picks for the upcoming draft. Do we risk our future that the Nets pick will land us either of these two. We know what we are getting with Cousins and we have to have faith that Stevens can control his emotions. If we give up Nets pick plus 1 guard, 1 forward and Zeller and Young and 2nd round picks we will never use, the potential outcome could be unbelievable.
