Scal was talking about Olynyk leading the league with defensive ratings. I myself won't believe that he will win it in his entire lifetime but if he can keep up those numbers until the end of the season, it won't be out of reach.

I mean, I've got him slotted for MVP.. but yeah, a case can be made for DPOY instead.

I posted about this this morning, but he is leading the league in Def Rtg right now at 83.1.  Last year, Hassan Whiteside had the all time record in that stat with 86.20.  KO is 3 points ahead of that right now!  I know it's early and KO will probably finish several points higher, but come on that's awesome.

Hence the value of advanced stats.

KO for Steph, straight up? Equally proficient on opposite sides of the ball. Lateral move? Maybe. But we can sacrifice some defense for offensive gain.
