He looks great so far. Getting a ton of steals a ton of tips on rebounds, a ton of little things. I only watch CEltics and som Kings games, but could he get on the all D team this year? We seem to be so much better thwn he is on the floor. I think he has become my favorite Celtic this year.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Yep he's an absolute beast.
The way he and Smart impact the game defensively is something that can never be reflected on the scoreboard.

We have suddenly got one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. It took a few years but it's looking like we have the best defensive back court in the NBA.

We are a rim protector away from being the best in the league and Crowder and Smart's defensive effort is simply contagious.

What a bargain at $7 million a year.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.

His O seems to slowly be getting better. It's clear now that his D will justify playing him a lot. f he can start scoring a lot he would be an allstar.

maybe the second team, its really hard to get past the hype of tony allen and leonard. it would be cool if smart, ab, and crower all make the 1st or 2nd teams. Maybe even amir.

Crowder never got enough minutes in Dallas to develop his game or really improve .   I see his confidence level increasing on offense.  I think he develop a few signature moves to go along with his tenacious defense.

His activity in passing lines is huge for the team right now.

He's much better defensively than I expected he'd be given his lack of height and length.   He's been Tony Allen-esque this season.

With that said, he's also been a borderline disaster offensively in every situation other than fast breaks (and he's not even particularly great in that situation).

He's played starter level defense and then some, but the Celts need him to become at least a serviceable offensive player.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

D is great. Just needs more offensive consistency.

I wish he would stop shooting threes unless he's wide open. His role on offense should be pretty simple. Shoot open threes, keep the ball moving, or make hard drives to the basket.
