This team is almost there if ET can just continue playing like this, I know its a big if but you have to go with the body of evidence you have.

Some questions remain to be answered. For instance is our depth a function of talent or function of interchangeable parts due to mediocrity?

Excited to get this win on the road without Smart and without AB for a good part of the game.

Is Zeller in the doghouse? What about the work Sullinger is putting in on both ends of the court.

Go Celtics!!!!

so much to talk about RJ is a steal, looks like he is going to be a big time player, and he makes Young expendable. Hopefully we can flip Young for some  more assets or use him as a filler for a big deal. Like the commentators said tonight it is going to get hard to get minutes on this team.

i like the way rj channels his man to help,
i think people under estimate his length being so thin,if i remember correctly he tested high in agility which has transfered well on d
those long arms and active hands allow him to help on d
his hand offs are crisp but he needs to work with lee and amir on getting them the ball on bounce passes where they can catch it
jerebko has a connection with rj beacuse he spreads the floor himself-
i was a huge fan of prince and have been a rj fan since summer league, where he had a couple of  identical don't give up, use his length blocks from behind--
my favorite play was an insignificant box out at edge of key,a box out he didn't have to make but one of those  that winds up a deep board and bad luck bad bounce opportunity that can be a game killer-

Hunter and Turner (and Crowder) were huge difference makers in that game with Bradley out. I've been trying to temper my enthusiasm about the rookies, but it's amazing to me that RJ was that disruptive on D and that controlled on O against a team that, athletically, is from another planet.

Great game for RJ. Really exciting.

He outplayed several highly touted Buck players his senior.

Kid is super super quick , he is seeing the court and plays develop ......very simular to Marcus Smart .

Hunter and KO could be special used together .

You just Know Stevens has a man crush on RJs game .

I d like to Smart ,Hunter and IT on the court together .

By mid year ..... Gonna be hard NOT to play RJ ......he is so crafty and surprising rebounder.

he makes Young expendable.

I hope he makes Bradley expendable -- especially if we finally move Smart to the 2.

And Bradley was a steal. If there was a draft re-do, AB would go in the lottery easily, and likely higher.

edit: also, AB and RJH are pretty much entirely different players. not sure what your point is other than to not-so-subtly dig at AB. Man, that AB is a bust huh? Thought he was gonna be a superstar picking him at 21...

there is a post JUST above mine..... i replied to that post.

I haven`t seen this guy play and i haven`t seen much of AB to have an opinion ... i`m just saying that after 3-4 games AB was considered a steal and now there are posts saying "i hope we can trade him"

RJ looks very comfortable out there, which is a great sign for a rookie from a small school.  Impressed by the way he's coming off screens, the smoothness of his shot, and saw some nice defensive flashes last night too.

what impressed me the most were the 7 rebounds and it werent just rebounds that fell into his lap, he worked hard for it.

Rollie my first thought after watching him in the pre season was potentially Tayshon Prince with a better shot.  A glue guy who can also fill it up from 3 pt range.  Love his game.

OK, well, I actually agree with that sentiment. TP.
