He's at it yet again. Man, his play is truly off the charts right now ... it's mind-boggling to me that he keeps getting better. His display of skills is the most impressive show in basketball imho, and with all the basketball enthusiasts here, I feel compelled to create a place for Curry-specific "oohs and ahhs" that may seem off-topic in other threads.

Here is a nice, brief article on his historic start to the season:
http://www.ibtimes.com/nba-mvp-2015-2016-stephen-curry-emerges-early-favorite-historic-start-2171808

Quote
The season is still very young, but Curry has been even better than he was last year. The 27-year-old is off to an historical start. He’s averaging 35.8 points on just 20.2 field-goal attempts per game, shooting 57.4 percent from the floor and 94.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In his seventh NBA season, Curry is making a case to be recognized as the best pure shooter of all time. Attempting nearly 11 three-pointers per contest, Curry is shooting an astonishing 51.9 percent from behind the arc.

Yes, it's early. And yes, he will come closer down to Earth at some point ... but man, he is a joy to watch.

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

He's unbelievable. Seriously, I think I'm hallucinating while watching him.

He's playing at a level right now that transcends the NBA.   We haven't seen anything like this.

It's incredible the types of shots with such high accuracy that Steph Curry can make off the dribble from long distances. And on such high-volume.

Never seen anything like that.

Would we say what he's doing now is better than when LeBron averaged 30+ on 60% shooting for a month or when Durant averaged 35.9/6/6 on 55/44/89 in January?

I think it might be, which is crazy.

Serious questions:

1. If they remain healthy, can GSW win 73 games this year?
2. In an article I read today, Nash was quoted as calling Curry "as skilled as any one in the history of the game." Fair statement?

Crazy comparison:
Arguably Jordan's best season: 37 pts, 5 rebs, 4 assts, 3 stls, 1.5 blks
Steph this season: 32 pts, 5 rebs, 6 assts, 2.4 stls

Yes, the NBA has changed quite a bit, and in some ways that benefits Steph. Still a long ways to go, too. But, just interesting to look at for now. He's playing in another stratosphere, and truly doing it in ways (as others pointed out above) that we have never seen.

I bet you neither LeBron or Durant shot the three ball at the volume or rate at which Curry is doing it.

Wish I had a chance to see him play more, he is one of my favorite players. Not only is he better than almost anyone I like the fact he out smarts people with child like ease.
