are still our best big men.  KO needs to work on his post d but they are still the best.  I wish we could figure a way to start Isaiah, Smart, Bradley, KO and Sully because they are our best players.  Rozier, Turner, Crowder, Lee and Amir get honorable mention. RJ and Jerebko should play spot minutes too.

Rozier and Smart as a backcourt is also intriguing to  me.  I wouldnt worry about starting Smart at pg so much.  We need a true SF and having smart play all over the place for another year isn't such a bad thing.

How many min did these guys play together on the court?? Both excellent games tonight.

Glad Lee got less min.  Zeller is out of the rotation

I wouldnt mind starting Zeller over Amir.  We have too many guys.  It's no knock against any of them.  Mickey is nice and young as well.

i dont even think we needed Amir or Lee to be honest.  Turner is a really good player and one of our best players but i wonder if we even need him sometimes.  I really like Turner as long as he isnt taking 3's.

KO, Sully need to be allowed to develop somehow. I dont mind KO being like Mchale off the bench for now with Sully starting.

Guys like Rozier, Hunter, Mickey need to develop as well but im ok with them not playing because they are so young.

I wish we could get Isaiah, Bradley, Smart, Sully and KO and Crowder all about 30 mpg.   With Turner and Amir next in line.  Lee, Zeller, Jerebko, and the young guys are going to have to scrap for minutes. jerebko would be my pick to be the guy to come out of that and a couple other guys.

Olynyk has impressed me. Seems more coordinated out there and also seems like he put on some muscle.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I knew Sully was going to get his minutes (even though he seemed 5th in line in the big man rotation), but I didn't think he would be this effective this early. Good for him.

As for KO - I have always been a fan and want him to succeed. He has a unique skill set and hope he can build on this game.

Have Sully and KO  BOTH

Ever had a great regular season game At the same time.

I think it is a first.

Usually one or the other has been hurt and they play musical chairs moving back and forth taking the starting job.

You must not have seen a lot of games last season.

I don't know about starting, but this eould an nteresting rotation to give extended minutes from time to time.

He did look good tonight. The key with him is for the guy we saw tonight to show up a lot more often.

They could be our best big men if they can be consistent. I really like how CBS shortened up the rotation I think this will allow players to get into a rhythm.

Funny how the 'odd man out' tag for the bigs has shifted. Sully had to prove himself this season and he is starting to do that. He has gone from some calling him the 5th in the rotation big to people calling for him to be signed to a new deal.

I am really happy as a Sully believer that he has done well and I hope he continues to do well. Then he will be seen as an asset when chasing bigger fish. I prefer to see him as a piece in place who can play a big role rather than a trade asset. He is starting to prove he can be that, though his consistency will tell the whole story.
