I actually talked a bit about this on my show today - I went a bit overboard, already said things I regret a bit, no surprise. But I think it set the team back in that they went over there already knowing whom their starters would be and originally, after the two games, we all thought it'd work.
Now after these final few pre-season games and these first five regular season, it doesn't work and it's back to the drawing board at square one. So in that sense, yes it did set the team back. It might've been beneficial to have them get their head handed to them right away. But we're five in, and I don't think any of us, both internally and us schmucks here from the outside have one correct formula.
Going to be an interesting, yet albeit agonizing next couple of weeks.
