Last year I was the most focused I've been on the NBA in a couple of years. I watched pretty much every single Celtics game and loved every minute of it.

With us having Brooklyn's first rounder and a chance at Minnesota's and Dallas' first rounder this year I've been even more focused on what is going in the league.

For example there's no Celtics game on tonight but I might just watch Brooklyn vs. Milwaukee tonight so I can root for the Bucks, same with the Minnesota-Portland game.

Has anyone else had a resurgence knowing we have the potential to land a ton of first rounders this year?

Yes I am watching both games tonight. I hopeful for our future teams with these picks. My friend who is a Nets fans is so mad we have their picks. I am sure they will have to blow up and trade Brook and Thaddeus, too.

Definitely enjoy rooting for the Nets to lose, there's just something so fun about rooting for a team you hate to lose knowing that you reap the reward if they're bad  ;)

This is going to be one of the best NBA seasons in a long time to casually follow.  Sure, the best teams aren't world beaters by any means, but there are about 20 legitimately interesting teams right now.  Plus, everything is so wide open and so many young guys are finally getting their legs under them that it makes everything really uncertain and exciting.

On top of that, we have the Nets proxy-tanking for us and we have a $15 million expiring contract in Lee right before the biggest cap increase in sports history as far as I can tell.  This is a great time to be a Cs fan and an NBA fan.

I'm more focused b/c we have so many picks due from other teams, I watch to root for/against them.

I will say, I have been watching it more over the last few season in part b/c of CB. I need to have some idea of what I'm saying so that I can discuss my opinions. Watching it more also gave me more appreciation for the game, players/teams and opinions of others (agree or disagree).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I am follow Dallas and Brooklyn for sure.

Almost certain Brooklyn wouldn't be in the lottery in 2014 so that pick (Young) didn't have much potential. These picks can definitely swing into the high lotto.

PS. I'm not buying Dallas getting out of the lottery. Too many injury prone players. If anything I'd be more afraid they implode (not on purpose) and keep the pick.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Once a Celtic, always a Celtic (unless they are actually playing a game against us.  I follow PP, KG, Rondo and Al Jeff.  Also fallow a couple guys I have been watching work out in the off season near where I live for the past few years...Corey Brewer (Houston) and Omri Casspi (Kings).

Of course I first watch the Celtics games.

Today is a gift...
