to all those high scoring games???  I know the competition in tonight's game was a step up but they weren't playing any real good defense. we had a ton of good looks and uncontested shots. we just stunk up the place.
And what is it with David Lee??? if he were to drive to the basket 10 times someone would get a piece of that ball 9 times. he gives everybody a clean look at the ball.
And yes, you can gripe about the officiating when it's that bad in your own house. I was stunned when they called Jerebko for that bad pic because he stood there and never moved.
these are the kind of games that are must wins!!!

Been mostly reading box scores and I feel our FG% of late is killing us. Any reason why we haven't made 40% all season (pre season inluded?

I think teams are stopping our offense pretty well, we are not a strong offensive team anyways.   But it seems like to me, that team are rotating and stopping a lot of the penetration that happened last year.

The offense isn't moving quote as well as last year so far, but we've also stayed in these last two games when we really had no business to. We've generated a pretty fair amount of good looks (though not quote as many as we need to, haven't been pushing it up court enough too) that we just can't get to go down. Olynyk took a handful of good shots yesterday that I'm happy to see him take they just didn't go in. We missed some real bunnies down near the hoop.

When we play Indiana we need to shoot better. If we can't then we need to start looking at Hunter/Rozier and see if they can hit some shots.

Lee played well in preseason scrub games.

He has disappointed me with his awful shooting ....  Although Kobe looks as bad or worse for,the Lakers lately .

Lee is looking slow .

KO put on too much muscle or something, he's been shooting like I did when I first played NBA Jam. Mostly every game including preason he has shot like he is allergic to scoring! Needs to figure it out fast, bigs minutes are hard to come by.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

We're missing a ton of open looks.  I put that on random chance rather than scheme or talent level, at least until we've played enough games to beef up the sample sizes.  IMO if we still can't throw it in the ocean a quarter of the way into the season, that's the time to question whether these guys can't play or aren't being put in the right places.  But right now it just looks like noise.

Isaiah Thomas and Evan Turner seem to be the only two committed to driving to the basket in half court sets. Smart, Bradley, Crowder take a jab forward only to kick out to a perimeter guy sometimes only a few feet away and with no better shot than they have. Many times they try dangerous cross court passes. Toronto caught on to this and it made the offense very predictable and turnover-heavy.

The defense needs to at least think there's a chance the guards will make it to the hoop even if they commit a turnover or get their shot blocked on the way there. Smart especially does a good job of drawing contact and will get more calls with more hard drives. He might be a little too unselfish right now kicking the ball around the perimeter. They need deeper penetration for better shots on the perimeter.
