We all know the 3 point shot is all the rage and the long 2 has fell on hard times. And in general terms I know a strong argument can be made for the three. But can't there be exceptions....
Sully has a very reliable long 2 near the top of the circle left of center (just like KG) and is still not up to snuff on his threes. If you were coach would you stop harping to him about the three and let him shoot the 2 or would you get him a shooting coach to keep working on the three?
I know AB has worked hard on his corner 3 this summer and hopefully it will pay off this year, but with Sully I am starting to think "let Sully be Sully". What do you think?
