I almost see beating the Nets as equivalent to beating up one of the weakest kids on the playground and taking their lunch money and then watching the rest of the kids on the playground taking turns beating up the same kid on different days and giving the lunch money to us. 

I should probably feel worse about that analogy than I do but I'll be enjoying the results

Lakers.  It's especially easy this year since the Lakers lose their 1st unless it's in the top 3.  So I want the Lakers to have as few ping-pong balls as possible while still missing the playoffs.

We play Cleveland 3 times. If we go 1-2, I will not be excited. If we go 1-1 against GSW, I will also not get excited.

none.  who cares about the regular season.  Now if you asked me which playoff series win I would get most excited for, that is clearly the Warriors.

Obviously Lakers. The Lakers are not a good team. Why would I be bothered if they beat another bad team whose draft pick we own? Every game the Nets lose is good for us.
