Everyone is talking about Lee, ET, and AB but no one mentions Zeller. He has ONE rebound in 2 games and everyone always says KO is soft and can't rb! Bunch of bias!

I've been saying it! lol I don't like him in the starting lineup. I think if you're going to have Lee in there, you need to have Amir in there, too.

Why is Lee in there again?

Like I said, talk about guys like Lee but he had 6pts/6rbs/2ast and a steal tonight. He wasn't good but he touched just about every stat!

Those are some good bench numbers.

That I agree with and have also said. Not nearly my point, all I see is dogging of Lee (others) while ppl being quiet about a 7ft guy who gets 1 rb in 2 games.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I think like a lot of us that Amir really deserves to start, and will start.  Why he isn't starting right now and playing 19 min this game really has me scratching my head.  I mean Amir started for Toronto last year correct?  I understand that they want to pair him with IT as much as possible, but we can't have our best def big coming off the bench and our best scorer off the bench.  It makes no sense.

As far as who should start with Amir, I tend to think Sully.  I like Lee coming off the bench against the other team's 2nd string.  He will be more effective on offense, and can run  the PnR w/ IT as well.  If zellar can find some productivity, then he will be in the mix, but until he starts doing something he should come off the bench as well.

Honestly I wonder if IT will crack the starting lineup at some point just because we desperately need the scoring...

Through these first two games the Nets have looked like a certified bottom feeder. Try to be competitive but can't keep up at all with the real teams... Makes me happy to see  :)

I'm done with players 7 ft that can't rebound .......if they can't shoot lights out like Dirk ......then they need to hit the road......trade.

I wonder that too, but the thing is that IT had the 3rd most minutes of anyone and he is really productive off the bench.  So he is getting his minutes, and he is productive.  I don't think it will really change much if he starts.  We just need more scoring.  Amir kind of fills the low post def hole from last year, but we never really filled the wing scorer/shooter that we really need.  Turner isn't that guy most of the time.  RJ might be that guy in the future.  I hope we start seeing some minutes from him instead of Turner.

Lopez against 13 players....he gonna wear down bad by mid season .....they should trade him BEFORE they kill him trying to win

If Stevens doesn't light a fire in KO and Zeller ......and Turner is not traded ......could be another LOTTERY pick for the Celtics.

Celtics got beat by a better and more talented team.  Our best player IT is probably the 3rd of 4th best player on Toronto - and talent wins - especially when it plays well, as Toronto did tonight.

That all said it after 2 games and pre-season it appears this team has a rebounding problem.  And it needs to be able to perform better offensively on nights like tonight when the 3 isn't falling.

Both teams attempted 26 3's - they made 4 more = difference in game.

Disappointing that they let this one get away from them, but I'm not going to get worked up about it. I also expect them to lose to San Antonio on Sunday, but hopefully they get back on track after that.

Oops, just looked at their schedule for the next couple weeks and it ain't pretty: @Indiana, Washington, @Milwaukee, Indiana, Atlanta, @OKC, @Houston. I'm thinking they could be 3-7 after that stretch.
