Just stopped in to say...ugh.

I  feel like they have too many players if that makes any sense.

Perfect sense.

They do.

Thing is, playing fewer players won't exactly help, as the only thing that really makes the Celts stand out from other teams is their depth 1-12.

This team needs shooting at the SF position BAD. You'd be able to more effectively run that Bradley and Smart front court if you had someone that can hide them on the offensive end. That's what turned this game around at the end of the 3rd quarter; the perimeter defense was horrible, tons of open threes but Brad couldn't put Bradley and Smart back in because there was nothing going offensively.

what happened? we were playing so well.

Raptors bigger, faster, longer, more talented on offense.  Celts struggling to create, and make, good shots.

I still see some chemistry issues, too, which led to several of those turnovers. That's one problem with so many guys and rotations - hard to develop solid chemistry with certain groups when they don't always get to play together.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

ok the 3 by Ross kinda let any remaining air out of the building.  We just don't have any really dependable scoring beyond IT.  Hopefully Jae can develop his 3 ball, or DA can find a way to trade some of our spare parts for a scoring wing.

It may take a trade to two to get things rolling like last year.

This is one of those games where you're reminded that the Celts are basically just a team of nice bench players.  It's like 48 minutes of quality bench play.

Dang,  if this team had just gotten Winslow I'd be so much more interested.

Waited too long to put Sully back in. He was hitting shots earlier.

Let this game temper our enthusiasm a bit.  Celts aren't one of the better teams yet.
