Do you want to see Isiah Thomas Starting?

I love how he changes the game when he comes off the bench, he gives us a huge lift and plays the majority of the game after that, but the guy deserves to be a starter. Any thoughts?

I like him best as an offensive sparkplug off the bench.  I think that's where he thrives best and what his game is, ultimately, designed best for.   Ideally, he's a 6th man.

Plus, I like Smart/Bradley combo.

Yeah, I like Thomas attacking opposing bench units and not trying to defend opposing starters.  He's in his ideal role right now.  If he continues putting up 20+ pts and 5+ ast off the bench for us, we'll be doing great.

yes bradley to the bench please . That way we can play IT with smart , and rozier with Bradley. Much better balanced

I would also move Amir into the starting lineup. He has great chemistry with IT on pick and roles.

I thought he was under contract with the Liberty... 8)

But on a more serious note -- I don't care one way or the other as long as he's getting 32+ minutes a game. Fat chance.

32+ minutes a game for Isaiah only leaves 16 minutes or less for Marcus at the point.  Personally, I want to see Smart playing at least 20 minutes per game as the primary ball handler.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I really don't understand why this continues to be an issue. It almost doesn't matter at all who starts on this team. They are all so interchangeable. Does it matter that Zeller is starting? I don't think it does.

I'm not into arbitrary division of minutes (giving Smart X minutes for the sake of giving him X minutes), and he's done nothing to force himself into that position. Play the best players to get the best results -- play Thomas.

I like IT off of the bench, but a pairing of IT and Smart in the starting five wouldn't be the worst idea ever. I'm still not fond of IT guarding the opposing team's starting point guard, though.

no.

keep him off the bench.  the productivity off the bench speaks for itself.  if ever the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applied, this is it.

It's not arbitrary.  I think Marcus Smart is being groomed to be the future leader of this team.  I also believe that a fair argument could be made that he is already among the top two or three players on the roster.  To maximize his potential, I further believe that his best position is as a point guard.

Ergo, I want him playing significant minutes at that position. It's not arbitrary.

IT's niche is as a 6th man much like J Terry and Jamal Crawford. He is good enough to start but his style of play is best suited for being a offensive spark.

The way things have been stacked up in preseason and the opener, I don't think that our "1-5" could beat our "6-10" in a series. On our team I don't think that being a starter means anything except that you fit Brad's game plan for the early minutes (I'd love to know what that is...)

I *think* the strategy is to open with ball pressure and stick the other team's playmakers right away so that they can't set the tone or get a rhythm. If that's the case, I definitely don't want Thomas to start.

I think that if Bradley missed a game due to injury, Stevens would start Smart, Turner, and Crowder.  Under normal circumstances, IT's only starting if Smart isn't.
