Towns - pretty solid first game.  14 p (60% shooting), 12 boards.  No blocks just 1 assist.  Needs to work on rest of game but will be solid all year long.
Russell - looked lost a lot.  didn't shoot the ball well at all (though was better than Kobe).  Just 4 p, 3 r, 2 a.  Needs to improve a lot
Okafor - one of the better 1st games from any rookie ever.  Clear turnover issues and needs work passing out of double teams but 26 p (on 10 of 16), 7 r, 1 a, 1 s, 2 b is a great start
Porzingis - didn't shoot particularly well, but looked fairly fluid getting 16 p, 5 r
Hezonga - solid first game going 11/3/2 with ok shooting
WCS - played just 8 minutes and didn't do much with it
Mudiay - looks like he is going to be a monster.  17 p, 5 r, 9 a and shot the ball pretty well.  Clearly he is well ahead of Russell at this point.
S. Johnson - hasn't shot all that well, but has played well enough in his 2 games averaging 9/4.5/1.5
Kaminsky - just 6 minutes and didn't do much with it
Winslow - solid all around game, but is not very aggressive offensively.  5/7/2 but didn't miss a shot.

Also of note, Randle looked pretty good in his first full game going for 15/11.

Be interesting to see if the early trends hold and where these guys ultimately end up, though early on it looks like the ROY will be Towns, Okafor, or Mudiay.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Towns looked a little lost at times but definitely belonged out there physically and showed a nice touch.  A couple of nice on-ball defensive possessions too.

Okafor started off very aggressive - he looked like he wanted to chew Zeller up - but had difficulty adjusting to a defense that aggressed first.  He's already a high-caliber scorer though, big time.

Russell was totally lost, to the point I forgot he was out there at times.

Randle's young Z-Bo comparisons seem pretty valid, unfortunately including playing selfishly and out of control at times.  He was ready to go coast-to-coast and chuck up a prayer at the end of the game.  But the talent's there.

Didn't see the other guys, but Mudiay seemed to show the most promise.
