Milwaukee is blowing this for us. You can tell they're a really young team. They're making a ton of bad decisions.

Eh, one Brooklyn W doesn't mean much.  And I think they'll put it out regardless - Brooklyn seems like they want to keep going to the Iso Joe well.

I disagree.  The Wolves, Knicks and 6ers finished with 16, 17 and 18 wins, respectively.  That one win at the end of the season could really mean a lot.  Not only that, but the Nets are actually trying to win.

You don't think the Wolves, Knicks and 6ers were trying to win?

Right - they each won 16-18 games.  Which means that between 90-100% of each team's wins wound up having impact on the place they finished in.  Add the ping-pong balls to the equation and the wins become even less meaningful amongst the bad teams.

Brooklyn will win some games.  It's not a catastrophe when it happens, that's all I'm saying.

Anyway, moot point because 0-4 baby!

I'm just going to put it out there that if the Timberwolves win tonight, I think I might start a Timberwolves season watch thread. Granted they've played the 3 worst teams in the west so far, but I don't think they'll be nearly as bad as people think. They got a nice team. Their season depends on how fast their youthful players grow up and they have a chip on their shoulder with Flip's death.

Win or lose though, I'll be rooting for them.

KG with a nice deflection on Lillard to get Minnesota back into it.  Fun game overall.

Stephen Curry is not human. The Warriors are somehow better than last year...

Genuinely believe he's the most skilled player we've ever seen. He looks to be getting better, which I didn't think was even possible.

You're absolutely right, but I do think there's something to the idea that if Brooklyn goes on a mean losing streak to start the season (e.g. their 0-18 start a while back), that could break their spirits for the rest of the season.
