I think we'll be solid this year but I'm surprised we're ranked ahead of the Bucks and Wiz. Love seeing the Nets at 29, hopefully they'll be 30 by the end of the year with an 0-82 record... Can always dream :)

Mavs at 21 is almost perfect too. Lottery pick but better than the 7th worst...

Might be a little high. It's making me nervous how high everyone is projecting us. I wish we were more under the radar

CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Seems optimistic.  Brooklyn in the bottom 2?  We can only dream.

You know, if you think Brooklyn is going to be better than we all think they will be, you should just come out and say it. Tell us how you really feel. There's no need to hold back.

If they are close to being right with their rankings the Lakers would be handing over the a top 5 pick to the Sixers, unless the NBA helps them jump in the lottery again ;)

East has to many mediocre teams... hard to predict.

I'll surprised if the Brooklyn pick ends up in the top 10.  Sure hope so, tho.

Man... imagine if the pick actually did end up #2... how stupid will the Hornets look for passing up #16 (Rozier), #28 (Hunter), Brooklyn's #2 and other picks just to end up taking Kaminsky.  Oof.

The pre-season buzz is a bit hyperbolic for the Celts.  I think they'll be a middle of the road team, but placing them ahead of the Wizards and putting them right there in contention with the Raps for the Atlantic Division seems premature.

Deep though they may be, the Celtics still lack top end talent, so I expect them to have their ups and down and finish close to .500.

The Raps may have underwhelmed in the playoffs yet again, but they've still won 48 and 49 games the last two seasons, and they might be better this year.  The Wizards have John Wall.  I think the Pacers will be right there with the Celts, too, thanks to the return of Paul George.

I sure hope they're right about the Nets.  I still think not having any reason to tank makes a difference, especially in the East.  Hard to get a bottom 5 record when you have no reason not to try to win as many games as possible.  It's not like they have any younger players that need to see the floor.  The vets in Brooklyn will get all the floor time they could ever want and then plenty more.

The Wizards as the 8th seed.  I just don't buy it.

10 Eastern teams before the 8th team in the West (which is Utah).  I just don't buy it.

These are pretty crappy rankings on the whole (though I think they generally have the top 8 right).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I still doubt the validity of Danny offering up the 2016 Brooklyn pick, among others, to Charlotte. That just seems totally against Danny's philosophy of not making panic moves just to make a move.

I would like you to list ten teams that will have a worse record cause I can't at this point. I think they'll fall to 8 to be honest, and that's cause I'm realistic. So if you truly believe it, list the ten teams that will be worse.

Just from looking at it quickly, you're saying Minnesota will have a worse record, which makes no sense...

I do think the 8th team out West will be on the weak side this year.  I have to see Phoenix with Chandler down low before I'll buy into them, and while the Jazz should be great on D, they still don't have a starting caliber point guard, which drastically limits their ceiling.

I agree about Washington.  That team will be good for 45-50 wins again barring major injuries, and they could challenge for a top 3 seed if Porter and Beal continue to improve.

Yeah, rumors were "a" Brooklyn pick.  Seriously doubt it was the next one.  More likely 2018.
