  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
The Truth fires up in the fourth.
If you've never heard the Clippers commentator on a hot shooting night the clip is worth him alone. "BBBBIIIIINNNGGGGOOOO!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or8shzADXRQ
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Awesome, thx for posting.

Nice block by Blake, too.

PP34 and continued growth (especially on defensive end) by Blake Griffin and this team will be tough to beat.

Get your banner in Clipperland and come on back home, PP.

It's still weird to see him not in green, I hope he ends up in bostons front office, or coaching staff when its all said and done.

Paul Pierce is one of those rare players... you know he's going to hit the shot but you jump out of your chair anyway.

I'd love to see him back in some capacity.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
I wish we had a player of his caliber. He truly was our foundation for so many years and was apart of so many comebacks.

I hope that he is in the starting lineup once the season comences. Surely guys like Lance Stephenson or Wesley Johnson don't deserve to start ahead of Pierce.. ugh :o
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Same. I think there's a good chance it happens unless he winds up staying in Los Angeles, where he's from originally. But I remember an article (after he was traded to Brooklyn) in which he mentioned that its weird that no former Celtic owns, like, a sports bar near the Garden or something like that and how much fun that would be.

Pretty cool that he can still pull that sort of thing out of the bag still.

Makes me regret Bird's early demise all the more.  He would have made an amazing savvy old vet.  Though playing for the Celtics during a decline would have driven him nuts.
