I think the pierce garnett allen story cannot be repeated..
Ainge took a different way by hiring coach cbs.. he is no rivers (better man  handler than coach)
Cbs seems to me that he is a coach who tries to develop a culture.. he tries to make everyone better... he is comfortable with youngsters around him.. but the challenge begins now... till now he overachieved with a mediocore team.the celtics cannot be happy with just reaching the playoffs.. ask all the celtics fans.for the c's it is just a step to the real goal.. with 3 lottery (nets) picks the next 3 years and probably signing 1-2 good free agents he will face a must win situation... at the end of his 6 year contract he should deliver..
And thats something we actually do not know about stevens... can he be THE GUY for us? Can he handle the pressure of a championship team? Because if he is able to raise a banner with the ability he has of making everyone better he will win not just one but many more...
For me there will be no middle... total failure or enter the red auerbach zone. I know it is too early but thats my sense

yes? I don't know.

You're saying Stevens is no Doc Rivers, because he is a better man handler, than coach?
That deduction, leads to the question of "can he be the guy" and "can he handle the pressure of a championship team"?

I think so.

It's almost impossible to read your post given your unique use of grammar and sentence structure. So I can't comment on much of it because it's unintelligible.

But I can comment on that last sentence which frankly is idiotic. No one except Phil Jackson can claim to be in Red's league. Not Pat Riley. Not Popovich. Not Chuck Daly, Larry Brown, Red Holzman, Jack Ramsay or Lenny Wilkins. Not a one of them could claim to be in Red's league and yet all of them were/are exceptional coaches.

The goal is to win a Championship. One. If Brad Stevens can do that, he's in a league with only about 30 other people in history - NBA Head Coaches who have won NBA Championships. If he does that his hiring has to be considered wildly successful.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

I think the C's have to die. You either want to be at the top of the karma chain or the bottom - you don't want to reincarnate from the middle.
How do you feel about websites where people with similar interests share their opinions?

It seems like the OP is comparing the Doc that left this team, not the Doc who joined this team to CBS.

It seems like the OP is …

You're a better man (or woman) than me.
