Kevin Durant may be in our way. OKC may give up on him due to his injury concerns.

And he may decide to split his career into two pieces, pre and post Westbrook. The Celtics are a perfect team for him for the second half of his career.  Just add him and Skal Lab and keep all the defenders already here...

If there's a chance that Durant will leave OKC this Summer... or if he just flat out lets OKC know he's leaving, I wouldn't rule out a trade at the deadline.  They are 6-5 right now... if for some inexplicable reason they aren't on a path to contending at the deadline, you can't rule anything out.  After getting rid of Harden, it wouldn't be a good gamble to risk Durant walking away for nothing.

This is the only way he's traded (besides S&T).

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Houston We have a problem. Maybe Houston will try to rebuild and we can get Harden or Howard.
McHale is gone. Howard the Center who can not win. I'll take Harden but not Howard.

Well Noel just got benched. They finally realized he's not a PF and Okafor is balling. Just saying he's not a star and provides no offensive value but adding him to our top 5 defense is very enticing.

failing a trade by the Sixers, I keep envisioning him playing out his QO to hit FA as soon as he possibly can to get out of Philly.  would be oh so satisfying to see Hinkie's embarrassment of a strategy to start blowing up in his face.

I heard on the Nate Duncan podcast, that with Noel on the court the Sixers have  the best defensive rating in the league, but if you replace him with Okafor in the lineup they have the worst defense in the league.

Noel's offense has been really bad this year, but I think if you get him in a decent offense he could be a useful offensive piece as a guy who rolls hard to the rim every play.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

It's still early on this front, but with Okafor looking great so far, and Embiid reportedly ahead of schedule now and maturing under big Zs tutelage , and Saric probably coming over next season as a PF, it may make a lot of sense for the Sixers to trade Noel for good value now before the pressure to move one of their big men gets too high. They would probably want the Nets pick this year though from us I would assume.

Noel's value is too low to even think about 2016 Nets pick. I can see Philly doing Young, Mickey, and 2018 Nets pick. Mickey is almost as good at PF right now as Noel is playing the position. Plus they get a future first and wing project in Young.
