I am not saying do a bad trade just to get them out of here , but I don't see anything they offer that wouldn't be easily replaceable by the rookies . Rozier , while maybe not as good of a defender as AB, is not far behind . Plus he can handle the ball, score and shoot . Hunter would be able to stretch the defense from day 1 and is a solid defender himself.

Sully needs to go. Mickey is much more athletic, much better defender, and has that bass 15 ft jumper and can finish at the rim unlike sully .

Wonder what a package of AB and Sully could bring back in a trade ?

I agree that Rozier ends up replacing Bradley eventually, but I don't think it's this year. After seeing IT start the last couple of games, I do think I like the Smart and Bradley starting backcourt better.

I  really enjoy watching Rozier play,  I know Stevens does too because he just keeps pushing the pace..I think he will get minutes this year in games where bradley is struggling because bradley can't create his own shot.

can rozay play off the ball?

he can but i think he is better with the ball in his hands because of his speed. there was a time where he and sully where in the game and the defense was really good.he kinda makes guys move faster.

I like the rookies, maybe I was wrong about our draft, but they should be eased into the rotation very slowly. I think Bradley and Sully are expendable, and not necessarily because of our draft, I just think they are in general. But the right deal needs to come up first. They are both very different players, but talented players that I like. I agree with you that our rookies look good but we should chill out a bit.

We have a lot of trade bait on this team. We can trade 2-4 pieces for 1 very good piece and still have good depth. Good place to be.

I like our rookie class but we've got to wait until the Celtics play in the regular season and actually play a good NBA team before we decide what the Celtics' next move should be.

After the 2012 pre-season ended, I was 100% convinced Jeff Green was the heir apparent to Paul Pierce as the team's wing of the future, that the Jason Terry/Courtney Lee duo was going to wreck the league, and that Darko was going to be a diamond in the rough for the team.

Then the real season began and all those dreams were destroyed. Point is, wait until the real games begin.

This makes sense. Sully I feel is on shaky ground already, though I don't want to give him away. AB will always be a handy player to have around and others need to prove they are better consistently at the NBA level before AB is traded.

idk about moving on from AB, but if Rozier continues to play like this in the regular season and on his rookie year gets something like 15-16 ppg / 4 apg, I'd heavily consider starting him in the backcourt with Smart

I'd rather trade Sully for a pick than cut either Jones or Young.   It's pretty clear we don't wanna pay him, so might as well gain one asset instead of losing two.  Besides, he's going to become a malcontent soon anyways, when Lee & AJ take all his minutes...

I'm very about this. Seriously Sully is starting to bother me (And boy have I been rooting for the kid) I just dont think he fits the hard nose blue collar fit of this team. If we can get a first out of him then go for it.

But what Im really hoping is we deal Sully, PJ and some sort of collection of picks (nothing that great) for a decent player. Pitch the other team on Sully's upside  ::) and Perry's potential ::) and how draft picks are always valuable. But the real question is... Who can we get with that? I know its dependent on how good the pick(s) is/are. If anyone wants to throw something out there I'd love to hear it!

Oh and just to help continue this convo, Hunter will be starting SG within the next year (barring we pick up/draft an all star time guard. His length, IQ, shot and work ethic really bode well for him.

Again, wildly too early. Not only is this just preseason, we haven't even played a good team in the preseason yet.
