A few issues with the plan.

First, I think the tanking ship has sailed and I don't like the concept of tanking. I understand that it is a plan and a method of rebuilding that can work if executed well. I also understand any rebuild needs to be "executed well" in order to be a success.

Second, a small issue but I think it kills your credibility, you point out specific players to target some of whom are like 16 right now. It's honestly too early to predict this year's draft let alone the 2019 draft. The plan can work without the names and I think that you've explained before one of your favorite things to do is to find prospects well before they hit ESPN and sports illustrated. I just read the post and I think "ok this guys ridiculous"

Third, I don't think that trading guys like AB and IT for prospects would make us bad enough for top 6 picks unless we lose brad too and that would be a real shame.

This rebuild strategy was a real option but I don't think it is anymore I urge you to move on and focus on ways to take our current rebuild to the next level.

Honestly think we can build a dynasty without tanking, we have put our money in BBINstock and the next three seasons we will sit back play hard and use their sucking to our advantage.

"We will suck for a long time" ....You are literally an instant gratification fan. This team has no Paul Pierce. You underestimate how much that guy did for us, he was the MVP IMO the first season of the big3.....but KG was the only one up for an actual shot at MVP. Why? Honestly.....in your opinion, why?

KG was significantly better than PP in 2008.

By the way, while it's obvious to the entire world that it's better to have good draft picks than bad draft picks, good draft picks don't insure a lot. I may have missed a player or two, but Wade and Duncan were the only players I saw drafted in the top 5 that won a title with the team that drafted them going back to 1990 or so, so TD was the only top 4 pick to do so. Again, I won't turn down a top pick, but those numbers are fairly sobering.

Mother of God I thought I'd seen a ghost.
TP and welcome back
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I won't argue that KG was better in the sense he was the heart and soul of the team. But PP did put up 20/5/4 and had more overall win shares than KG. So I wouldn't say KG was "significantly" better more than he was just more important to the overall team as it was constructed. Paul's role could to some extent be taken over by Ray Allen. No one could replace KG's role (or energy).
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Ray Allen had the hardest time of those 3 and in no way IMO could fill PP shoes. Remember he went through spells of scoring problems....especially in the beginning of the playoffs.

Also PP was always downplayed but always showed up and did his job. I can see both sides:"KG came and changed the team", which he did but PP helped bc they shared the same mentLITY for winning....."PP finally got the help he needed all these years".....Remember when he was hit by Amare and broke his teeth, lol and he came back in the game. The guy was Boston Basketball, tough as nails and always showed up. KG was the same but I can not recognize KG as our best player by far.....even when he was in MVP talks.

KG was 1st team all-nba, dpoy and finished 3rd in mvp voting. If you're into win shares, KG's WS/48 was 28% higher than PP's during the season, 37% higher in the playoffs. I'd go with "significantly" better.
