Celtics (3-0) at Knicks (3-0) Preseason Game #4 10/16/15

I saw some people on here saying they thought the Nets looked good against us.  I can't imagine what game they were watching.  They looked worse than the 76ers to me.  I never thought the Celtics second team could/would be challenged by them.    We were without Smart, Lee and Bradley and the Nets were never really in the game.  Sure they pulled within 4 in the fourth but if you watched the game you saw our guys had quit playing offense and were going 1 on 1.  Once it got close we started trying again and blew them away.

From what I saw, I think the Nets might be closer to 15 wins than 25.

Thought the same. The only time I thought the Nets looked decent was when Joe Johnson actually wanted the ball in the second half. But he's so laid back, kind of like Jeff Green's chill level, that I doubt he will take over very many games. Even if he does, the rest of the team looked terrible, including Lopez. Amir was able to use his quickness against him, and he's not even an offensive threat. Lopez will struggle defending bigs that pull him out of the paint.

Tank sit last 25. Anything more and that means team is horrible again and should just trade Melo to rebuild.

should be interesting to see how much NY improves over last year now that they have Melo back and added a couple of decent FA's.

I hate Melo and the Knicks but, I think they have a shot at playoff contention with a 6 game 1st round exit. Melo is good enough to carry a team into the playoffs when healthy. I think his supporting cast makes the cut

I thought the Knicks had a really remote chance whereas the Nets have none simply because Melo is better than anyone on the Nets by far.  Looking at the Knicks preseason roster, I'm rethinking their chances at the playoffs to be as unrealistic as the Nets'

Honestly I hope they make the playoffs... it would just be another team ensuring that the Nets don't make it

My stomach hurts when most people I see are feeling positive about how we will be this season. No one is going overboard, but they largely agree that we will be in the playoffs and that we are going to be tough in the regular season. Ugh, I want everyone to count us out and stop the positivity!

Nope, since it's a nationally broadcast game it's considered a "black-out" game for LP. That is how it is for Verizon FIOS anyways, but I think that's how it works with other cable providers and broadband, too. It's stupid.

No. No games on NBATV, ESPN, TNT nor ABC will be on LP. No nationally televised games. You will probably miss about 10 games (if that) if you don't have those channels. Good thing (bad thing too LOL), we don't get many nat. games. I feel bad for teams like LA, Cavs and GSW, the good teams that get a lot of nat. tv time, I bet their fans who don't have those channels on certain days will miss quite a few.
