I wonder if the fellowship of the miserable is starting to change their tune on the nets. When you go against very smart people like statisticians, linesmakers and professional analysts (not just talking heads) you really put yourself out there.
I've been pretty consistent in saying that I think the Nets should win about 30 games, with the possibility of a bit more if their bench comes together, and the possibility for less if their vets suffer injuries.
I've also been consistent in hoping that I'm wrong. I would absolutely love for the Nets to have the worst record in the league this year. That'd be awesome. That 2016 Nets pick looks like the Celts' best hope at being relevant outside of New England anytime soon.
By the way, I really like 'fellowship of the miserable' as a creative way of casually and not-too-harshly deriding posters that take a more pessimistic stance than the average poster. It's a dang sight better than "tankers," and more interesting than "pessimists."
