So the good news is that even though the Nets played their precious little hearts out tonight against a winless team missing Jabari Parker, they are still likely coming away with a loss.

Further good news is that they have to play the Hawks on Wednesday.

The bad news is this, though: they're playing the awful Lakers after that.  I really don't know if I can bring myself to root for the Lakers that game, it's going to be another nail biter.

Just think of it as indirectly rooting for the Celtics  ;)

Hopefully the Lakers can pull that one out. It's pretty much 50-50 if you ask me. If the Nets don't win that game, who knows when they'll get their first win.

This is great!  The Nets tried to win so hard and they came up short.  I hope that they get really demoralized from this.  The Nets couldn't win at home against a winless team on a back-to-back missing their best player!  Hahahahaha LOLNets  :)  :D  ;D  :police:   8)

 ;D

And the Grizzlies were second in the west. No big deal, the Nets have just played the top 2 teams in each conference. They'll be just fine.

 ;)

Simmonsfreude.

Skalenfreude flows a little better for those who prefer Labissiere.

Oooh I like Skalenfreunde.  I like that Positivize's name takes into account that the Nets are proxy tanking for us and it's not like we're losing for the player.

Yup......nets and lakers both with backs against the wall early in the season.  .....unpredictable outcome....both needing a win.

Man oh man it would so huge for the future of the C's if the Nets really stunk up the joint this year.  It would be huge for the future of this team if we could end up with two picks in the top 12 or so.

Too reliant upon luck to make that big a deal of it, but imagine if we land Simmons?
