I never knew about the three tenths of a second rule.

I think he was talking in general that you can't catch and shoot with anything less than that. It used to be .4 I believe. Obviously, you can still tip it in with less than that, so they still play out the clock.

At first he made it seem like they just let the clock run out, and I was like "Huh?"

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Lopez' point blank miss could mean the difference between the 1st and the 2nd pick for us!

Woohoo

Come on Warriors, take care of business in OT. Putting us through way more stress than is reasonable!

Oh I thought they said that if there is less than .3 of a second remaining, then they automatically end regulation because you can't physically get a shot of in that time frame?

Pop Quiz - What was better:
a)  the eight second call;
b)  or the Lopez miss;
c) or the failure to foul to allow the Iggy three;
d) or not having Lopez in there for crucial minutes in the 4th?

Let's have the real Jarrett Jack for the fourth please.
Keep shooting those terrible fading jumpers.

No. He made it seem like that at first, then he he quietly mentioned that you could always tip it in, too.

Remember Sully's tip-in last year with .2 seconds to go?

e) The 8-0 run in the first 3 mins of OT!

The not fouling on the 3 takes the cake for me. That's basketball sacrilege in that situation, especially with a freaking 3-point-shooting team like GSW!

I can't see this game, it's blacked on NBA LP in the Bay Area and I don't have any other TV stations other than NBA LP and your standard few news stations.

But gotta give the Nets credit.  We're talking about a Golden State team that destroyed Memphis by 50 points earlier this season.

Haha this is the Nets team we know and love lol Apparently the Monstars stole their basketball skills between the fourth quarter and overtime.

Dodged a couple bullets here.  Nets lost the last game by 2 and came very close to winning this one.   Hope they keep losing.

Now I can go to sleep happy.  A Nets win bothers me as much as a Celtics loss these days.
