So he'll be playing in '16-17, then.

This is their absolute best shot, IMO.

No need to go another round with CP3 and Co. if they don't win it this year...no need at all.

Why can't I ever be first?

I wish Paul the best of any non-current Celtic but the Clips will not win this year or next.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

So he won't be playing next year.  ;D

I think the Clippers, as currently constructed, are destined to be a perennial failure (in the sense that they won't win a title). Chris Paul is a very good player, but he seems unable to come through in the clutch. Blake Griffin is very good, and has added a nice midrange jumper, but he (like CP) likes to complain a lot, and seems easily unsettled/disrupted in high-stress situations.

With Duncan, Aldridge, David West, Kawai, Manu, Parker to deal with and the defending champions. That's going to be a long tough road.

So he'll never retire, right?  ;D

Don't get me wrong, I love Pierce. But I ain't rooting for Flop Rivers and that second clown team (first is Houston) in the West to win it all.

Maybe until CP3, Blake, Jordan, and Flop Rivers are gone I can root for the Clips. Then again it'll be too late for them to make any sounds.

Pierce and KG will retire after this season.

Winning that one ring is still a nice accomplishment
