He has us at 14, 7th in the Easy ahead of Washington and Indiana. He also has Dallas at 18 and Brooklyn at 26

This would leave us facing Atlanta in rd 1, with picks 5 13, and I think 16 again. Not bad at all.

Completely shocked Stein doesn't have the Nets winning 50 games.

I sure hope the Nets are a bottom 5 team.

Placing the Celts above the Wizards?  That's generous, to say the least.

In any case, everybody above the Knicks / Lakers / Nuggets / Blazers / Wolves / Sixers midden heap and below the Warriors / Spurs / Cavs / Clippers / Grizzlies / Rockets / Thunder cream are pretty much a jumbled mess.  Who knows how it'll play out over the whole season.

Good news: we'll start finding out pretty soon.

For those that can't access the article, here's the basics

RANK        TEAM        CONF      CONF SEED
1           GSW        WEST        1
2           CLE        EAST        1
3           SA         WEST        2
4           LAC        WEST        3
5           OKC        WEST        4
6           HOU        WEST        5
7           MEM        WEST        6
8           NO         WEST        7
9           ATL        EAST        2
10          MIAMI      EAST        3
11          CHI        EAST        4
12          MIL        EAST        5
13          TOR        EAST        6
14          BOS        EAST        7

21          SAC        WEST        10
22          PHX        WEST        11
23          ORL        EAST        12
24          MINN       WEST        12
25          NY         EAST        13
26          BROOK      EAST        14
27          DEN        WEST        13
28          LAL        WEST        14
29          POR        WEST        15
30          PHIL       EAST        16

not too far off from what I figured in terms of conference standing except I can't fathom how he thinks Wash drop below us.  Also think Indy does better than he's expecting.  Also can't see Dallas doing that well in the West either.  I'm thinking Indy, Charlotte, Phx and Sac finish better and wouldn't rule out Minny making a real improvement this year.

I certainly hope it breaks that way.

In other news, I have been told the Celtics are 27th in overall rating in NBA 2k16, and have the worst rated defense in the league.

(This may be due to an error in the way the Celtics' rotation is setup by default)

The highest rated player on the Celtics in 2K16 is Avery Bradley, rated 78.  IT, Sully, and Lee are 77, and Crowder is 76.

the 2016-2017 Celtics will be a force to be reckon with because there is a very good chance we finish top 3 in the East this year and still end up with 2 top ten draft picks.

I predict the Isaiah/Lee combo will surprise a lot of teams.

I love it- Nets at 26. Make the playoffs and get a top 5 pick? Yes, please.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I'll be thrilled if the Celts win a playoff game and get a top 10 pick out of this season.

Even better would be if Smart gets lots of minutes and takes a significant step forward, and at least a couple of the other young guys get some playing time after Ainge makes a trade or two to clear away some of the roster excess.

That's the kind of optimism I like to see!
