I do find it weird that Hunter is regarded that much higher than Rozier

I was going to say that at that level they probably aren't far apart in their "score", since it doesn't take much of a difference to drop a few dozen spots.

But I guess they're actually rated a bit less than 4 points apart out of 100, which is more substantial than I expected.  Guess the voters liked what they saw from Hunter in Summer League.

I may have missed something but I thought Hunter and Rozier were about equal (for that matter, Mickey on about the same level as them) and Young didn't look so hot.

Yeah, let's not fool ourselves into thinking it's particularly important to accurately rank someone as the 351st best player in the NBA versus the 376th.

Well, they're taking a (crappy, subjective) interval scale and converting it to rank ordering.  You're always going to get weirder results toward the bottom where players are all bunched together.

The whole thing's just an exercise to get pageviews and start people talking about the upcoming season anyway.  Might as well take it for what it's worth (a little as a conversation starter, basically nothing objectively) and have fun with it.

Beats me how you can judge these guys who haven't played a minute of NBA basketball. Dart board might not be a bad way to go about it.
