Canada played horrible other than K.O.  Wiggins, Stauskas, and Bennett were non existant.  Horrible foul call with .3 seconds left gave Venezuela the win.

K.O. 11-13 shooting, 3-4 from 3, 9-10 from the line.  He did have 6 turnovers.  Canada had a 7 point lead with 4 minutes left and choked.  Just a terrible performance from everyone else.  Rest of team shot 17-45 and 2-13 from the 3pt. line. Bennett didn't score, Stauskas had 2 pts., and Wiggins was 4-11, 9 pts., 2reb. ,2ass. and 4 Turnovers.

KO is aggressive once in a blue moon...maybe he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, maybe he's got a little jeff green in 'em, maybe there were more Canadians in the crowd, who knows what motivates this dude? all I know is I don't expect to see this every game.

Sssesh can't you at least praise him without bashing him? I mean Olynyk is not Giannis, but he did well.

Prior to this game K.O. was averaging around 18pts., 12reb., and almost 5 assists per 36 minutes.  The Canadian offense has been really really good with him on the floor facilitating it.  One of the announcers said today that they were averaging 127 pts. per 100 possessions overall.  Guaranteed its even higher with him on the floor.

Defensively this team is a disaster but they overcome that with offense.  I have watched every game and K.O. has been the only real defense they have.  Bennett and pretty much all the guards including Wiggins cant stop anyone.  Olynyk probably has one of the best if not the best DFG% in the tournament.

Wow!!

Bad loss for Canada.  They've been looking dominant for most of the tournament.  I thought they were a shoo in for a rematch against Argentina in the finals.

Now, no Olympics for the Canadians.  I'm glad Kelly had a huge game, but that's a real bummer.  That young core of Joseph, Stauskas, Wiggins, Bennett and Olynyk could make some noise on the international scene before they are done.  I guess they'll have to wait a while now.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

i thought there was another Olympic qualifying tournament they could have qualified for by finishing top 2 in the group stage or something. is my memory off or did they not qualify for that tournament?

Far and away the most talented team in the tour!  With that said they are young and very porous defensively.  I think they can still get in the Olympics through another tour. next year but not positive on how or when that takes place.

That's correct, there is another Olympic qualifying tournament in July next year.

be interesting to see how kelly plays for bronze medal today,it looks like he has been working on his inside game
kelly is a team player ,the team played poorly so kelly took over
of notice was lack of offensive rebounds in the 13 total-
does anybody think kelly looks a litlle quicker with his moves and he is no longer skinny-

KO has been over looked. Going into his third year I hope he makes a big step in his game. I'm not looking for him to become an all-star (would be nice  ;D), but become a a very solid NBA contributor. He also has to get past ankle injuries.

KO is a point-center. He could be the innovator. Just like Dirk essentially created the stretch-four.
