It's legit - he's added enough bulk to quit practicing against folding chairs and move up to full-sized recliners.

when he get knocked by a real nba  power forward,he better be wearing underarmor 2 inches thick.
he showed better in summer league and workouts, i was impressed after being a detractor because of weight but he is committed, speaks very well and maybe tougher than i thought he would be-hope he survives

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

You had me at "legit," my friend.

Let's get him in the gym with Hakeem.

I think so too. One thing that stuck out to me was that he was frustrated that sometimes he couldn't work hard enough in Europe without access to facilities. He was excited for opportunities to work harder (even in the middle of the night) in the NBA. I just think that attitude bodes well for him.

Given that frame it's like a skinny 6' person adding 4 pounds. Not a big deal at all. But good the kid is trying.

I know it's probably based on shallow similarities that don't really matter, but can someone break down the difference between Porzingis as he enters the league and Bargnani when he was entering the league?  Because every highlight reel I see of Porzingis just reminds me of Bargs.

That, plus being a stretch 4/5 who doesn't play much in the post, isn't physically imposing, doesn't rebound or defend well for his size, but is offensively versatile with good range and a lot of "upside".  Plus it probably doesn't hurt that one just left the Knicks and one just joined them.

Again, I don't know the guy's game very well, I just see a lot of similarities.
